DTC Manager Job Description

​

We invite you to apply to the e-Commerce Manager, Direct to Consumer position at MV Group  (Castelli, Sportful, Karpos)!


This role is responsible for developing, managing, and performing digital experiences for MV Group (Castelli, Sportful, Karpos) In partnership with the Digital Commerce Lead, the role will own the segment’s P&L and be responsible for scaling, rapidly growing, and optimizing its digital presence.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

​

Innovation & Results

​

  • Responsible for identifying solutions and achieving successful results via our direct to consumer owned properties, focusing on revenue growth and consumer experience design.

  • Communicate clearly and deliver innovative results in a timely, hard-working manner under established deadlines with the Italian DTC team.

​

E-Commerce Tactical Execution and Merchandizing

​

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to keep content updated and merchandised on point with the latest findings and trends.

  • Lead on-platform execution of new SKUs, SKU changes, and SKU discontinuations.

  • Run promotion strategy in conjunction with finance, accounting, supply chain and I.T. team.

  • Lead retention, promotion and CRM strategies to drive engagement, increased customer return rate and repeat purchases

  • Produce and Analyze data for all areas of the business including Sales, Google Analytics, Social KPIs, email performance, on-site and linear support

  • Drive testing and innovation to expand the DTC in Canada

Operational Excellence

​

  • Partner with key cross-functional collaborators to ensure projects are launched timely and on-budget.

  • Work closely with the MV Canada’s Customer Service team to ensure that the platform enables them to efficiently deliver outstanding service and partners on service-related end user communication as needed.

  • Work closely with the logistic and customer service team to ensure adequate inventory levels and accurate shipping estimates.

Education/ Experience Requirements

​

Basic qualifications include: BS/BA with 5+ years of experience in Direct to Consumer strategy/merchandising with e-commerce work experience.

​

 

Preferred qualifications include: experience working closely with development and IT teams in an agile methodology and/or experience with enterprise e-Commerce platforms.

​

 

Expected Areas of Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

​

  • Ability to work successfully across functions, channels, and categories to align priorities, solve problems, optimize resources, and drive effective execution

  • Experience with ecommerce platform

  • Able to lead multiple projects, balancing many deliverables and timelines with an understanding of their relative priorities

  • Capable of understanding technical complexity and developing clear requirements for developers

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong decision-making skills and an understanding of where projects fit into overall Company and category strategies

  • Interpersonal savvy; an ability to optimally work with and connect with all levels throughout the organization across various functions and geographies

  • Understanding of UX / CX principles

  • Experience with Analytics tools and familiarity with common CRM technologies

  • Intermediate level (or greater) Excel / Sheets (including comfort with pivot tables & vlookups), Google slides (slide design principles, animations)

 


Travel Requirements

Expected percentage of travel: Up to 20%
